Dubai Holding's hospitality brand
Jumeirah is the flagship hospitality brand of Dubai Holding, and the group describes 29 properties across 11 countries in the Middle East, Europe and Asia. The brand as most people know it was defined by one building: Burj Al Arab, which opened in 1999.
The portfolio is Gulf-weighted, with a cluster in Dubai alongside Abu Dhabi, Makkah, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, and a growing European presence. Dubai Holding acquired Jumeirah Mallorca in January 2026, with Jumeirah continuing to manage it. The group segments its properties into Jumeirah Icons, Jumeirah Privé, Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts and Jumeirah Residences.
Jumeirah One, and the rate type that matters
Jumeirah runs a points-based loyalty program, Jumeirah One, with three tiers: Silver, Gold and Platinum. Its published rules exclude bookings made through a travel agent from earning points, with one specific carve-out: Jumeirah Flexible Rates booked through travel agents and tour operators are eligible.

The only brand we work with that owns a water park
Wild Wadi Water Park opened in February 1998 and is owned and operated by Jumeirah, sitting between Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel. No other brand in our affiliations holds an asset like it.
It is a small fact with a real consequence: the Dubai properties function as a connected resort district rather than as individual hotels, and a stay at one of them carries access and logistics that a standalone city hotel does not.
How we handle it
You pay Jumeirah's own published rate. The commission comes from Jumeirah's side, so there is no markup and no fee, and the booking is flagged to the property ahead of arrival.
