Rendezvous Travel Collection
Rendezvous Travel Collection books your stay through preferred-partner programs like Four Seasons Preferred Partner, Rosewood Elite and Virtuoso, so you get the room upgrade, breakfast and hotel credit a house saves for its best guests, at the same rate you'd pay booking direct.
When we arrange your stay, the hotel receives you as the valued guest of a trusted partner. The privileges vary by house, and typically include:
Why we can add real benefits to your stay, at no extra cost to you.
Tell us your destination and dates, or send over a stay you've already booked. No cost, no obligation, either way.
Hotels invite a small number of top-producing agencies into these programs, out of thousands who'd like in. We hold that status and apply it directly to your booking.
The upgrade, breakfast, credit and recognition are added automatically, paid for by the hotel, not you.
Preferred partner status with the world's most respected luxury hotel programs.
...and many more
How luxury hotel perks actually work, and how to get them.
The most reliable way is to book through a travel advisor with preferred-partner status rather than booking direct. Programs such as Four Seasons Preferred Partner and Virtuoso include priority room upgrades at no extra cost, subject to availability. We book you through these programs so the upgrade is requested and flagged to the hotel before you arrive.
Early check-in and late check-out are included with most preferred-partner bookings, subject to availability. Some programs go further: The Peninsula's PenClub offers flexible arrival from 6am and departure to 10pm. Share your flight times and we'll arrange what the hotel can accommodate.
No. Unlike Marriott Bonvoy or Hilton Honors, Four Seasons does not operate a points-based loyalty program. The way to receive VIP perks, daily breakfast, room upgrades and hotel credit, is to book through a Four Seasons Preferred Partner advisor, at the same rate as booking direct.
Complimentary daily breakfast for two is one of the most common preferred-partner benefits. It's included automatically when we book a participating luxury hotel for you, at the hotel's standard room rate. You don't pay extra for it.
No. The room rate is identical to the hotel's own rate. Our commission is paid by the hotel, not added to your bill, so you pay the same price and simply receive the added VIP amenities on top.
Yes, if you booked directly with the hotel rather than through an OTA or another agency. Breakfast and hotel credit get added in almost every case. A room upgrade and early or late check-out depend on what's actually free at the property, so those aren't guaranteed either way. Send us your confirmation and we'll tell you exactly what applies to your stay, not just whether it's possible.
It's a partnership between a luxury hotel brand and vetted travel advisors, for example Virtuoso, Four Seasons Preferred Partner, or the Belmond Bellini Club. Members can add VIP amenities such as breakfast, upgrades and hotel credit to a guest's stay at no additional cost, at the same rate as booking direct.
Each hotel brand vets and admits its own preferred-partner advisors, and keeps the list deliberately small. Four Seasons Preferred Partner, for example, is extended to roughly 5,000 advisors worldwide. Rendezvous holds that admitted status with the brands in our affiliations, which is what lets a booking be flagged to the hotel as coming through the program, rather than as an ordinary reservation.
Yes. Elite status is earned over time through accumulated nights or spend with one hotel brand, and the amenities most travellers want, upgrades, breakfast, late checkout, generally sit at the brand's second- or third-highest tier. A preferred-partner booking applies similar amenities to a single stay regardless of your history with that hotel, because the benefit is tied to the booking channel rather than to loyalty tenure. Read more in The VIP Gap.
Most major luxury and upper-upscale groups run a preferred-partner or consortia program, including Four Seasons, Belmond, Mandarin Oriental, Rosewood, Peninsula, Dorchester Collection, Shangri-La, Hyatt, Marriott's luxury brands, IHG, Kempinski, Jumeirah, Oetker Collection, Rocco Forte, Langham and Meliá. Rendezvous Travel Collection holds preferred-partner or Virtuoso standing across these and other brands, see our affiliations for the full list.
Tell the hotel in writing about a week before arrival, not at check-in. By arrival day the rooms are already allocated. An occasion noted on the reservation in advance, particularly through a preferred-partner advisor whose note the hotel acts on, is far more effective than mentioning it at the desk. More in what actually gets you a better room.
For a stay of two nights or more at a participating luxury property, book through a preferred-partner or Virtuoso advisor rather than direct, at the hotel's own rate, this typically adds a room upgrade, daily breakfast, a hotel credit, and preferred check-in and check-out. Compare that against your existing elite status benefits at that property first: if you hold top-tier status with the brand, direct booking may earn you more in points and status credit than the advisor amenities are worth.
How every stay arranged through Rendezvous Travel Collection is looked after.
You pay the hotel's own rate. Our fee comes from the hotel, so recognition and amenities are added on top of your stay, never to your bill.
From the first idea to the journey home, you have an advisor who knows these houses, on hand before, during and after your stay.
Your recognition is arranged with the hotel ahead of arrival, so you are received as a valued guest from the moment you step in.
Whether you are planning a new trip or already hold a reservation, we would be glad to see it beautifully arranged.
